That is what it should be! A comic book would keep moving and so should and does this movie. It all happens quickly and is more of a matter of fact type situation without prolonged examination about the emotions. Johnny makes a deal with the devil and his dad is miraculously healed only to have an accident. Johnny Blaze gets bad news about his father yet barely reacts other than going to work on his bike. Critics complain because too much is just assumed. They would not spend an issue trying to develop a issue or emotion usually, just say it and then let it be motivation for the real story.Well, that is a lot of how Ghost Rider GR is. You go with making the statement and keeping the movie moving. Spend several scenes on making up believe that Uncle Ben loved Peter or just have Peter say it and assume we will take it at face value. Spiderman snapped because it kept moving, made it points and left some things for people to just imagine or figure out on their own. Leave aside that DL's acting was bad and the other factors, it made for a boring slow story that even the critics hated. In the DL Punisher, everything had to be discussed and thought out and the motivations pointed out, etc. Oh, you can shoot webs and stick to buildings, cool. Some wonder but not a lot of long speeches and introspection.

Spiderman, things happened and people just accepted them and it moved to the next frame. I also felt that the movie was pretty well-acted overall, and the entire flick maintained an aura of fun throughout which I believe was the main purpose of the whole thing while flowing smoothly through a simple plot.If you are the type of person to over-analyze plots, scrutinize special effects, whine about some cheesy acting or if you get offended when a movie doesn't have a deep and philosophical meaning behind it, this is definitely not a movie you should waste your time or money on.If, however, you are the type of person who enjoys some good laughs, some over the top and at times cheesy comic book acting, cool battle scenes, action and adventure, or if you simply just like to see some guy with a flaming skull, this is worth the 8 bucks to get into a theater seat. I also enjoyed the battle scenes including one involving ghost rider and a helicopter I won't tell you what happens there, but it is pretty amusing. The scenes where Cage turned into ghost rider for the first time were fairly intense, and I found myself marveling at the coolness of his transformation and powers. It had its flaws and there were times when I found myself snickering at the silliness of it all, but that to me is good entertainment.
